Atom approached MYC and discussed the creation of a logo together with new collateral for the business. MYC had designed and discussed several options, until the material was suited to the client’s preferences.
Following the design of the logo, together with the development of the brand guidelines, MYC handled the artworks and printing of all stationery items, including the business cards using quality lamination, letterheads, compliment slips and notepads, amongst other print jobs. It was truly an honour to work on the Atom project.
When designing the logo we worked around the concept of the Atom, transitioning it into their new identity. We had tried different approaches, from a corporate look to more user-friendly designs, at the end adopting something that was simple, yet interesting. We created one shape that multiplied and rotated around the centre, forming the electron orbits of the atom. The rest of the stationery followed. One of the most interesting developments was the complete overhaul of the office entrance, following the new brand guidelines created for the company.
